Three day weekends generally include a mandatory visit to Brighton for quality time with the boy’s family and friends. Brighton displays itself as an exceedingly enjoyable bohemian town as soon as the sun shines, so when the weather permits sunbathing on the balcony, our visits usually start with a one night intention, and end with returning at the weekend’s finale. Being the hottest UK weekend of the year, our one night party became breakfast with mimosas, which lead to a Sunday roast outdoors, that ended with evening cocktails beachside. You won’t be surprised to hear I napped all Monday, and just awoke at 7pm to peruse the internet, and buy several new arrivals from the ever enticing Topshop.com. Now off to watch a line-up of guilty pleasure television, and gorge on fare from our local pizzeria. Hope you all enjoyed your bank holiday weekend!
