Silence & Noise top, Missoni skirt, Topshop wedges, vintage necklace.
Whenever the weather brightens my mood quickly follows. We took full advantage of the sun soaked weekend, and spent every moment possible lazing outdoors. After a Saturday filled with drunken opinionated conversation, the boy and I decided to ease into a serene, thoughtful Sunday without company. We retreated to a quiet outdoor table and spent the day lunching on chargrilled shellfish, sipping ice cold wine, enjoying carefree conversation, and bathing in the warm afternoon light. We didn’t return home until dark, where the night ceased with intense laughter and early slumber. I love romantic days when reality seems a million miles away.

Forever 21 top, Urban Outfitters skirt, tights from shop in Tokyo, heels from boutique in Hong Kong, Christopher Kane for Topshop bag, vintage necklace.
They boy and I spent last night dining in an ideal restaurant for Friday night. The Commander, famous for it’s oysters and steaks, was buzzing with giddy conversation and boasted a traditional brasserie ambiance. We were instantly delighted with our roomy booth table, and were ecstatic to discover the venue is also dog friendly. After musing endlessly at the accommodating menu, a variety of seafood and a giant porterhouse was ordered. Our meal was paired with indulgent wine, and not a morsel was left by night’s end. The evening concluded with a tipsy walk home, our moods far too content to notice the breezy chill.

My search for the perfect lace dress has been tiring and endless. After trying vintage, high street, and affordable designer my hopes began to wane, until I realized how flawlessly this skirt and top created the silhouette I have been craving. Sometimes you already possess a fulfilling answer.

Forever 21 jacket, Asos shirt and hat, Topshop shorts and boots, House of Holland for Pretty Polly tights.

I have been lulled into a relaxed mood lately. We’ve traded late nights for home cooked meals, and drunken laughter with deep conversation. I am sure it is only momentary, but there are moments when you need nothing more than two candles, chilled music, glasses of wine, and the one you love.

I was ecstatic when these House of Holland for Pretty Polly tights arrived, but managed to rip them during my first attempt at putting them on. Extremely devastated, but at the least the tear is barely visible. I will be far more careful in future. If you would like your own pair they are available at Asos and Mytights.

Forever 21 lace top, Topshop shorts, Rolex watch, Asos ring.

Just a quick hello before dinner. Spent the day lounging in lace and denim, trying to locate my favourite red lipstick, making impulsive online purchases, and welcoming home Chloe (my dog) after three long weeks.

Promise to post a full outfit tomorrow!

xoxo

Topshop cardigan and boots, AA tank, thrifted skirt, Asos socks, Georg Jensen pendant, Dior bag.

Overzealous weekends result in quiet, thought driven Mondays. Sunny weather, busy venues, and upbeat moods can spark an insane sequence of non-stop frivolous behaviour. Even though I enjoyed almost every moment I am thankful today marks a new week, and I am sipping orange juice without any trace of vodka.

I received lots of questions about my Zara wedges. They are very comfortable, and I got them recently so they should still be available in shops!

H&M dress, Kookai belt, Zara wedges, vintage coat.
I think the elusive London spring has finally arrived, although it may not stay for long (I hear winter returns next Tuesday.) I decided to take full advantage of the slightly warmer temperatures, and braved bare legs for the quick walk around the corner. Each and every outdoor table was occupied, wine and laughter was available in abundance, and I am happy to announce my legs did not freeze.
Spring, please stay and keep me company. I really love you.
