Chloe dress worn over AA bodysuit, Zara vest, Topshop boots, vintage and H&M cuffs, Rolex watch, F21 and Asos rings.

The dipping temperatures are a constant disappointment. I refused to follow example and pull out my winter coat, so I froze in this “spring” ensemble. This dress is one of the flimsiest, prettiest pieces I own. I rely on it year after year, and it is actually starting to fall apart. I will cry the day I am forced to really say goodbye. Until then I will visit my favourite tailor and hope to preserve its perfection for a few more years.

Topshop dress, vintage vest from Tokyo, mixture of vintage necklaces and Georg Jensen pendant, Miu Miu sunglasses.
Wishing I was having a picnic in the park, rather than being bombarded by constant drizzle and chilling wind. Notting Hill is uncharacteristically serene for a Sunday due to the long weekend. I have high hopes all the usuals will be out in full force tonight, trading in the customary Sunday pub visit for a session of late night dancing. Everyone is a little wilder when they have an extra day to add to their weekend 🙂

Hope all of you are having sunny weekends!

This afternoon, the single cherry blossom tree on our street silently scattered soft petals across the deserted sidewalk. The sight of plush pink against harsh cement provided instant inspiration for outfit ideas, but I was not fast enough to beat the thoughtless rain. I am now cozy in bed, donning a falling apart American Apparel romper, sipping scalding peppermint tea, sifting through editorials while listening to the persistent downpour. At times being trapped indoors by weather can be slightly romantic. Off to eat dinner by candlelight with the boy.

Happy Saturday!

Versace leather jacket, thrifted knit tank, Topshop silk shorts, clutch and shoes from boutiques in Hong Kong.

I scheduled a tiny escape from the sanctuary of my bed to have a mini lesson in the great art of DJing. My friend (one of the talented people from Kiss FM) made the experience interesting, exciting, and beginner friendly. I am very excited to experiment, and start dabbling in my new hobby.
My outfit was basically a revert back to comfortable basics. The combination of annoying sporadic rainfall, a congested head cold, and extreme clutter resulted in serious styling stress. I was lucky these shorts came to the rescue, and are a definite staple when it comes to exhaustion and pure laziness.

Topshop earrings, AA tee, H&M cardigan, Asos hat, Pull and Bear scarf.

I caved and joined a friend for wine yesterday instead of sticking to my healthy plans. My body is teaching me an important lesson, using a pounding head cold as punishment. I am hopeful to recuperate by tomorrow, and stick to better intentions in future.

This outfit is the equivalent to wearing my pajamas with a plethora of accessories. I have definitely fallen for my newly acquired dream catcher earrings, but am slightly concerned about the intense weight my earlobes are forced to carry. How can I possibly skip through wildflower strewn fields with this amount of density hanging from my head? Maybe it just takes practice…6 inch wedges seemed daunting during the first few steps.

Topshop boutique blazer and silk shorts, AA tank, House of Holland for Pretty Polly tights, Alexander Wang Diego bag, vintage necklaces.

Just finished a whirlwind weekend littered with far too much alcohol and a serious lack of sleep. After an insanely successful launch party at new nightclub, Maggie’s, and waking up to start all over again by participating in a typical Notting Hill Sunday, I am very ready for a relaxing week. I had honest intentions of subsiding solely on vegetables and Perrier for the next five days, but have already received a text to join friends for cocktails this evening. Lets see how much will power I actually possess.

Pull and Bear denim jacket, Sportmax top, Topshop shorts, Zara wedges.

What are your plans for the weekend?
Mine are…cappuccino date with my doggie Chloe, quick stop for red velvet cupcakes at Hummingbird, launch party for Maggie’s nightclub in Chelsea, downloading favourite songs with the boy, lessons in becoming a dj, late lunch and drinks, early Sunday bedtime. ( and maybe fitting in a quick tanning session..my legs are looking slightly pale :-/ )

Happy Saturday!

H&M dress, Matalan shoes, Rolex watch

When the best friend and I spotted this wrap dress/light jacket in H&M on a recent shopping excursion, we were both instantly swayed. After playing with various styling options in the deserted changing rooms, it was agreed that at £35 the dress was essential to our spring wardrobes. I wore it with a corset bra on it’s first excursion out, and am happy to am say it is comfortable, light, and perfect to go from day to night.
And here’s a little video I made while playing on iMovie…in case you wanted to see my last few outfits moving, or are curious how Notting Hill looks through a car window. Please excuse our amateur filming skills 🙂

I was instantly captivated by this surf inspired editorial featuring Abbey Lee for Australian Vogue. The style, attitude, and scenery completely invokes the effortless summer I desire. I was thrilled to find this behind the scenes video which captures the inspirational editorial in action.

My favourite looks from Coachella.
I find festival style incredibly enticing, but have never actually attended one (I’m not a camping sort of girl,) but I’m considering putting aside my fears and braving the public restrooms, shower ques, and possible rainy weather at V Festival this year. Or maybe I will just wait until Coachella pops around again next year…I hear they have a shuttle service that takes you back to the your hotel/rented house with a pool. Is that why Alessandra Ambrosio looks so flawless? She definitely does not look like she slept in a tent and waited in line for an hour to shower. Coachella is the sort of event platforms like Instagram were designed for. If you’re looking to go but want to improve your account’s engagement, you could use an account manager to help you get instagram followers and likes .
