I am experiencing a stupidly uncomfortable head cold while hanging out in the South of France. Please make it go away! I despise being ill in hot weather 🙁

Despite my extreme hangover and dizzy mood, I succeeded in dragging the boy and I to the Qasimi after-show party on Sunday at private club, Bureau. The boy went a little canape crazy, we all sipped champagne, managed to down a few shots, and met the incredibly nice designer. I prefer not to pick favourites, but this collection captured my heart. Structured armour worthy shoulders, whimsical ultra-thin chiffon paired with gold corseting, hardware embellishments in abundance, and the best extra short metallic, statement dress I am dying to own. Qasimi are definitely a hidden treasure preparing to infatuate fashionistas across the world.

As promised, here are some pics from our front row seat at Aminaka Wilmont. London Fashion Week is famous for provocative, unwearable, and exciting designers, but it was refreshing to view a collection that was as wearable as it was inspirational. Each piece was perfectly draped, and swathed the body creating a flattering silhouette. My favourite looks were the second skin, draped silk mini-dresses, and I was captivated by the shreds of leather which wrapped, and expertly accented the darker pieces. I definitely hope to be wearing one of these next Spring.

Tomorrow I’ll share my favourites from the Aminaka Wilmot.
Hope you enjoy our wobbly finale video 🙂

I am definitely one of those girls who loves a monumental party. The kind where inhibitions are non existent, drinks flow endlessly, and hair is swung in all directions to dance inducing music. When I came across images of Another Magazine’s NYFW party on The Cobrasnake, my excitement peaked. Impeccable fashion choices paired with mussy hair, smudged eyes, and drinks aplenty. According to Style.com Jefferson Hack was inspired to feed the guests, and even acquired a food stylist to create a buffet resembling the Rolling Stones’ “Beggars Banquet” cover. Sounds like one I undoubtedly would have loved to attend.
Going to try and make it to a few shows later at Somerset House. Will document my choice of outfit.
Later!

The boy and I have been trying to keep a low profile in hopes of recovering from insane amounts of travel. We jet off again next Wednesday, and I would love to be fully detoxed by then. Unfortunately detox to me only means trying to stay in and sober at least three days a week. Apparently this is a difficult task, and I’m already feeling slightly anti-social. And to make matters worst, on the days when I am sober, I manage to eat copious amounts of fast food and pizza. I think it may be time to take a course on healthy lifestyles, and the art of living like Gwenyth Paltrow. For now I’m using the “I’m young” excuse, and lined up a string of social events before our departure. Upcoming events: Fashion Week and cocktails on Friday, Birthday Party (not mine) on Saturday, Catch-up dinner and post show party Sunday, and shopping and wine on Monday. At least today is a “detox” day right? Dominos anyone?!

Favorites so far are definitely Alexander Wang’s leather shorts, Preen’s whimsical chiffon dresses, and obviously Herve Leger’s reliably coveted collection.
