I fell for Meli Melo‘s “bon bon” bags back in my fashion intern days, when I spotted one upon a pile of accessories while slaving away in the infamous fashion cupboard. My bag addiction sensor was immediately triggered by the sweet round shape, Chanel-esque chain, and delectable fringing. I had the opportunity to check out Meli Melo’s showroom a few weeks back, and was able to see their entire collection up close and personal. These cute pieces are ideal for any trendsetter. I spotted leopard, fringe and quilting in abundance, not to mention the softest leather imaginable. My lust for the red “bon bon” continues…

With each life changing moment, I have often wondered who would be present in the next stage and who would drift away. Whether the transition was motivated by happiness or responsibility, I have often been surprised by those who remained and the ones who slowly disappeared. At this age our lives can frequently shift, from home to university, from university to work, from a job to a budding career, and from just a boy to the one you marry. We move homes, jobs, and even countries but still hope to grasp the shining moments of our reminiscent past. The boy and I are commencing a big change in the next two months, and I am overwhelmed with excitement for our starry future. I will reveal more in the next two weeks, but lets just say Fashion Hedonism is ready to see another part of the world 😉

I’m currently huddled in bed, paying for the consequences of last night’s excesses. A random pub, hoards of friends, and cheap drinks can be a lethal combination. Nothing tons of pasta, peppermint tea, sporadic napping, and a large pizza dinner won’t fix 😉

Tibi dress, Zara faux fur dress, random scarf, vintage bangle, Rolex watch.
I’m finding it hard to part with my summer dresses, but piling on faux fur and scarves over the top is working as a temporary solution. I sloppily put together this outfit for a casual impromptu date with the boy. After discovering our local Italian wine bar was yet again fully booked, the boy and I scurried to the nearby Beach Blanket Babylon for pre-dinner drinks. We were grateful for the successful detour and have fallen in love with the boho luxe establishment all over again. Off to see the boy’s posse in Brighton tonight. More tomorrow!

faux fur coat from Boohoo, Topshop dress and headband, Christian Louboutin shoes.
Just a quick hello before we depart on our night out. I am currently practicing the strangest eating and sleeping patterns for no particular reason. The important thing is my social life has not been disrupted due to the randomness. We’re looking at an ultra packed weekend, but will keep sharing daily!
Happy Friday Night!

vintage shirt, River Island leather shorts, Mango boots, Low Luv necklace from My-Wardrobe, Rolex watch.
I love basic outfits that you can throw on, and feel confident and comfortable at a moment’s notice. I have gone through stages (before blogging) when I would wear six pieces in different combinations just because that was what felt right. Everything I am wearing above could easily slot in that category.
The boy and I are attempting a major spring clean, or autumn clean I guess. Lets see what survives and what will be brutally discarded. I think our local Oxfam will reap the benefits.

Miss Selfridge coat, Zara blouse, Topshop boots and headband.
Sorry for the outfit post break. Stacks of errands have piled up and the boy and my procrastination reached a whole new level, so the past few days have been spent playing catch-up. Luckily the monotonous responsibilities were accompanied by good news and favourable outcomes. We’re out tonight celebrating! Will keep you updated via Twitter. For now, here are a few shots of my new coat.

I discovered quirky Australian label, Aje, last season and immediately fell in love with their dishevelled sexy styles. The collection is chic and sexy with a playful twist. Clothes designed for a surfer/dj/party girl…everything I aspire to be 😉

Topshop tunic and hat, Zara jacket, River Island leather shorts, Jeffrey Campbell boots from Solestruck, Dior corset bag.
I’m enjoying this momentary delay before actual freezing temperatures descend upon the city. Last night included a stroll through the brisk night air, a quick change in dinner venue due to an unsatisfactory table, the best burger I have devoured in a long time, cocktails at a mistakenly forgotten lounge bar, people watching from a corner booth, and falling into bed with barely enough energy to kiss the boy goodnight. Repeat tonight or a movie marathon?! Ah decisions.
