Last night the boy and I attended Maddox’s “Carnival of Horrors” for dinner and a general spooky night.  The boy went all out on two types of fake blood, the staff were unrecognizable through ghoulish facepaint, and several sets of cat eye contact lenses completely freaked me out.  As the plans were pretty last minute, I didn’t go full force on my costume, but Halloween week has only just begun so I promise more next time!  Head over to the Fashion Hedonism Facebook page for more pics of the night, and better shots of the boy’s amazing “murder victim” costume!

The boy’s All Saints tee worn over Asos lace maxi dress, Aldo hat, Topshop boots, and vintage necklaces.
Excited about departing on Saturday, our first Halloween party this week, and the semi-warmish/not freezing temperature outside.  Now to figure out a way to pack up half of my life.

I know many of you have requested me as a Facebook friend, but out of respect for my friends and family who do not wish to be exposed to blogosphere I have decided to keep my profile private.  I am still very honored to receive so many requests so I have created a Fashion Hedonism Facebook Page! I will keep the page updated with personal pics, status updates, my recent purchases, inspirational images, and much more!  I have already made a little personal album for those of you who I could not “friend” on Facebook 🙂  Like Here!!

All Saints men’s top, Topshop faux leather leggings, Jeffrey Campbell boots, H&M hat, Low Luv necklace from My-Wardrobe, Gucci clutch, and faux fur foxtail from Portobello Market.

Mondays have become all the more exciting now that we have a standing date with Electric Brasserie.  Tonight we will be double dating…something I’m not sure I have ever done.  I’m undecided between going comfortable in the boy’s t-shirt or actually dressing up.  Oh the effort.

Topshop kimono dress and boots, Dior corset bag.

Last night was packed with early evening wine with friends, the most mouthwatering halibut steak at The Oak, delectable cocktails in the local lounge bar, and home to slumber in our cozy bed.  We’re ready for an equally social Saturday at   Supper Club‘s famous “LOVE BRUNCH.”  Lets hope it doesn’t get too messy before nightfall 😉

Friday is here!  Weekends and weekdays don’t differ greatly in my world, but I love the buzz which surrounds the idea.  We’re off to early evening drinks with friends and then date night with the boy.  Only question is which restaurant to choose today?!  Hope you all have lovely Friday nights!

xx

H&M aviator jacket, Forever 21 lace top over AA tank, Topshop shorts, Alexander Wang bag, Mango boots.

An ideal sunny, Autumn day.  Sushi lunch, browsing shops, enjoying the crisp air, and returning home to a cozy bed and giddy dog.  I days like these before the temperatures drop further and I forget everything I enjoy about Autumn and Winter.

Versace leather jacket, DVF gold dress, Jeffrey Campbell Litas from Solestruck, scarf from random Hong Kong boutique, faux fur foxtail from Portobello Market, and Dior corset bag.

Yesterday…  After a turbulent sleepless night and one too many nightmares, I found myself waking to an equally displeasing morning chill.  We were then forced to embark on a nine hour round trip car journey in a cramped spider infested vehicle.  I finally greeted home in the depths of a dark evening and retired to my bed in hopes of never leaving again.  One thirty minute nap later, and some light coaxing from the boy, I was convinced to throw on layers of clothing, lashings of eyeliner, and my very favourite boots for a quick dinner out.  But of course when in our favourite brasserie surrounded by delicious food and hilarious company, one bottle becomes two, two bottles become three and three bottles become shots.  A very raucous start to the week.

P.S. Sorry for constantly wearing these boots, but comfortable is an understatement for how wonderful they are.
