Happy Thanksgiving!  I’m thankful for all of you and the wonderful puzzle pieces that make up my peculiar life.  Hope you all eat far too much and have an amazing weekend!

My beloved floppy hat was crushed during one of the many plane journeys I endured this past month.  Why is it so impossible to travel with hats?  Must I wear five at once during long haul flights in order to preserve their shape?  Please share any genius tips!

Parka from Japanese boutique, jumper and headbandfrom Taiwanese night market, Topshop shorts, Wolford socks, Jeffrey Campbell boots.
Missing…over indulgent family meals, waking to warm sunlight, daily lakeside lunches of nigiri and sashimi, digging through crammed markets and bargaining for already insanley cheap finds, my sweetly petite little sister, constant stomach crunching laughter, being surrounded by family, and building worlds of memories…Cannot wait to return to our new home in a few weeks!
Thank you for all the well wishes for our move!

Love dress, Topshop jacket, Low Luv necklace from My-Wardrobe, headband from Chinese market, Mango boots, Rolex watch.
Big news…The boy and I are relocating to Hong Kong!  Many reasons led to this conclusion, but all I can reveal for now is there will be exciting changes for the blog and my life in the near future.  Departure date is set for December 13, so watch out for a crazy last few weeks in London.

Sweater and satchel from Chinese market, Topshop shorts, Jeffrey Campbell “Lita” boots.
Spent the day becoming obsessed with Pretty Little Liars, slumbering through heavenly head massages, and overdosing on caffeine in between.  Not looking forward to departing from this indulgent place.  Sometimes reality is just a little too overwhelming.

Topshop top worn over AA tank, River Island skirt, hat and feather necklace from Taiwanese market, Mango boots (sorry for the overkill of the same boots, but seriously the most comfy things to wear when travelling.)

Apparently this hat suits everyone…

We have returned to my dad’s sanctuary, otherwise known as home, for a few days before heading back to Notting Hill.  Taking time to soak up enough warmth and spa treatments to carry me through a London December.

Jacket and headband from Chinese andb Taiwanese markets, Topshop top, River Island skirt, Mango boots, Karen Walker sunglasses.

After 5 late nights, 12 restaurants, 3 nightclubs, countless hours of consistent laughter, and a serious amount of food consumption it is time to leave Taipei.   A definite sadness looms over our departure, but the boy and I vow to let no longer than a few months pass before the next visit.  On the other hand, I am so ready to detox and sleep.  I think tonight will be a soup/spa/dvd moment.

Taipei is turning out to be a supremely busy trip.  I have never consumed so much delicious food, laughed for longer periods of time, or just had this much fun in a very long while.  Extensive documentation of our dining/shopping/partying escapades to follow, but for now I’m just leaving you with yesterday’s outfit and the yummiest waffles and coffee ever.  Must run…more soon! xx

Topshop jacket, Kate Moss for Topshop shorts, Mango boots, Miss Selfridge hat, and AA tank.
The first night in Taipei.  Overjoyed reunion with my cousin, meeting my bro’s girlfriend for the first time, an instant love affair with all you can eat sukiyaki, discovering alleys brimming with trend filled boutiques, chuckling our way through The Social Network, and falling asleep to the relaxed hum of air conditioning and light street traffic.  I forgot how much I love this place.
