Sorry for the absence of outfit posts these past few days, but we’ve been working hard on Christing C.’s first lookbook! I wanted to share a few behind the scenes shots, and I can’t wait for all of you to see the finished product on September 1st. Thank you for all the support, congratulations, and kind comments about my new business venture. I am both very nervous and extremely excited. I will keep sharing more in the next two weeks leading up to the launch.

I have spent the past few months on an exciting business which is launching in less than one month. On September 1st my boutique, Christing C, will open it’s doors for our first A/W collection. I am bringing many of my favourite designers from Australia, Sweden, and the U.S. to Hong Kong, and the great news is that all of you across the world will be able to shop too because we are going to be an online boutique. I’ll share more about the shop during this month, but for now I will leave you with our list of designers and pics of the unfinished showroom and one of my favourite pieces that we are stocking!

It’s Saturday night and there’s a party. What to wear? Pretty much a weekly dilemma, but thank god for fashion blogs who leave inspiration right at your fingertips. I find it weirdly relaxing to browse images pre getting ready, so here are few of my favourites I came across tonight!

Ksubi at I.T.

The boy and I headed to the gigantic I.T. on Hysan Ave to join Electric Sekki‘s press day for the boys behind ultra cool denim label, Ksubi. We watched them present their “jean machine,” complete with a vending machine that dispensed everything from Berocca to hundred dollar bills, and got a first look at their exclusive collection for I.T. I was told the pieces are one of a kind, so if you want one you better be fast. I am contemplating jumping into a cab as we speak to snatch the gold paint splattered denim shorts before they’re gone forever. The Ksubi boys were as expected, fun, easygoing, and hilarious. Overall another entertaining afternoon spent with my favourite people from Electric Sekki!

Have been spending my week getting over this cold, sifting through piles of clothes, entertaining amusing guests, consuming too much food, packing up our schedule for the next month, and almost giving myself anxiety attacks from the overwhelming amount of tasks that still must be completed. I’m exhausted, but happy. That is all.

coffee and coughs

Spent the day running errands, sneezing, and having random coffee breaks with the boy. My brother and one of our favourite cousins returned to Hong Kong today, so it’s going to be a crazy week. Lots of decorating, photo shoots, press events, and partying coming up… I’ll keep you posted on all of the above and more. Wish me luck recovering from this annoying cold!

edging towards the finish

It’s been a productive Monday, so I’m ignoring the fact that I’m sick and heading out for date night with the boy. I grabbed my brother’s gym tank off the pile of freshly laundered clothes, and paired it with my highest heels for a slightly random outfit. I like outfits that involve being unsure as you walk out the door. Experimenting is half the fun. Hope all of you had a great start to the month and week!

Just another Sunday escape from the city. Starting the day after noon, hours of spa treatments to pass the day, and snuggled with the boy for food and movie night. The only cloud over my day is this annoying cold I can’t seem to shake. Goodnight!!

Asos top worn over Egoist top, Topshop shorts and boots, Alexander Wang Diego bag.

Casual Friday date night with the boy involves a comfy outfit, feeling far too stuffed after a delicious French meal, and beers and wine at a bar which can only really be described as a seriously eclectic run down apartment.
