Nothing better than an oversized top worn as a dress on a Saturday night. Comfortable enough to be worn to bed and dressy enough for any dining/bar/clubbing activity. I spotted it in Cotton On and sized up so it could be worn as a dress. Pretty sure I’m going to return for the python print version tomorrow.
Friday night: wore new leather top from Monki, consumed far too much hotpot and sake with the boy, met up with my favourite Hong Kong fashion bloggers at Halo, drank cocktails that resembled candles, decided we must change venues, took ridiculously short taxi ride to Fly for a single round of drinks, stumbled home for sandwiches and a few glasses of Grand Cru wine. Woke up at 2pm today. Ah life…
Last night we went to Kee Club to attend an event for one of my favourite Japanese labels SLY. If you haven’t already fallen in love with their collections, you must check it out. Fun, quirky, girly styles that depict the most stylish yet playful fashionista.
My outfit for the night was a StyleStalker dress that the boy generously gifted to me upon his return from London. I can’t believe I’m actually with someone who completely gets my style. So much better than receiving useless heart shaped jewellery.
Society for Rational Dress dress (soon to be available on Christing C.) and Asos boots.
Down to crunch time… Exactly two weeks until the launch of Christing C. Rails, hangers, cocktails, chairs, posters, ads, cupcakes, champagne, lookbooks, models, magazines, guestlists, and everything else that needs finishing touches in the next few weeks. September 1st is the big day!!

Out on a Monday night… The boy and I needed a date night to de-stress. These next two weeks are going to be insane, but worth every drop of sweat. I can’t wait to show you guys the final result!
Laguna Moon kimono/cardigan, H&M bikini and headband, River Island sandals, and Nookie beach bag.
The boy and I finally got the chance to play at the beach today. Who knew a thirty minute taxi ride out of the city would present a seaside town with deliciously fresh seafood and one huge sandy beach. We dined on steamed fish and garlic prawns, sipped beer while our toes dug into the sand, and watched a mesmerizing sunset just before snagging a taxi home. The ideal Sunday getaway.
Only a few more weeks of Summer left, so I’ve been browsing inspiration that will remind me to hit the beach before it’s too late. The boy and I are seriously missing our yearly excursion to Cannes, but Hong Kong’s smoking hot weather and abundant access to yachts and sand will definitely suffice. I think I know how we’ll be spending our Sunday 😉
The boy and I went slightly overboard at the JFT sale (who can resist with that kind of discount?!) yesterday, and after rummaging through our stuffed bags, I think I’m most partial to this leopard print blouse from Japanese brand Egoist. I practically ripped it off the mannequin as we rushed to pay, but the impulse was definitely justified. It works easily on it’s own with nothing but a pair of heels and I’m already imagining all the ways I can layer it, if winter ever descends upon Hong Kong.
It’s Friday, so of course it’s date night with the boy!
Wearing a lot of H&M on a laid back Wednesday night. The boy and I took a mini break from our visitors to partake in date night at a French bistro we’ve been meaning to try for weeks. After a two hour over indulgent meal, we reconvened with the others for cocktails, shisha smoking, and random debates about nothing important at all. I think I’ll be spending the weekend catching up on lost sleep. There may be food and cocktails in between, but I’m not promising anything. Slumber is definitely priority number one.
