Radisson Blu Maldives

written by ChristingC October 14, 2026

We’ve always loved luxury resorts that combine beautiful beaches, sleek contemporary villas and an abundance of dining options, which is exactly why Radisson Blu Resort Maldives continues to be one of our family favourites. Returning for our third visit, we were once again reminded how effortlessly the resort combines modern luxury with the natural beauty of the Maldives. Our journey with Trans Maldivian Airways was a spectacular start, flying over endless shades of turquoise before landing directly at the resort.

We stayed in a gorgeous Two Bedroom Family Beach Villa with Private Pool, which was absolutely perfect for us. I particularly loved the spacious layout, with both bedrooms and the enormous private swimming pool enclosed within our own little tropical sanctuary. Just beyond our villa was the softest white sand and crystal-clear ocean, meaning the kids could spend their days swimming, snorkelling and exploring the house reef.

Our days were wonderfully relaxed, alternating between kayaking across the lagoon, afternoons at the main swimming pool and long lunches overlooking the ocean. We loved ending each day watching the sunset, either barefoot on the beach or enjoying cocktails at the beautiful overwater bar.

Dining was another highlight, especially with the resort’s generous all-inclusive package. From delicious international buffets at Raha and casual poolside lunches at Eats & Beats to beachfront afternoons at Crusoe’s, there was always something to look forward to. Our favourite dinners were at Alifaan for incredible steaks and seafood, while Kabuki was such a fun Japanese dining experience for the whole family.

Between all the ocean adventures, we also enjoyed the indulgent spa, excellent fitness centre and learning about marine conservation at the Whale Shark Research Centre.

What keeps bringing us back, though, is the combination of effortless luxury, beautiful surroundings and genuinely warm hospitality. The team always makes us feel so welcome, and after three wonderful visits, Radisson Blu Resort Maldives remains one of those special places we know we’ll happily return to again.
