Yesterday’s after beach look. I’m not sure why I look so ridiculously dark in these images as my tan has not quite reached that stage. Maybe by the end of the trip 😉 It’s raining in paradise today, but the boy and I are finding it quite refreshing after several days in the sand. Time for a few long meals and many lazy cocktails.

The sunsets in Boracay have successfully achieved most of the memorable moments during this trip. I am not one that swoons for perfect views and scenery, but involuntary goosebumps and incessant staring definitely takes place each evening when the sun descends into the horizon. The boy and I worked out that we can live like a prince and princess for $70 USD a day here. I think relocation is a possibility. Lol.
Just a quick make-up post to show you guys a fun new collection I tried at the Dior store before heading off on holiday. The new Croisette range by Dior is the perfect pallette for sun kissed skin. I am more partial to the bronze tones which suit my everyday look, but the turquoise blues are a fun for expermenting on a night out. I am slightly sensitive towards eye glosses, but contrary to how they look, these perfectly shimmery colours are light and very sheer. I also couldn’t get enough of the juicy, orange lip glosses which are my go to lip shade during summer months.

This week has been all an Alexander Wang street party, Vernissage at Art HK, and a Saturday night with Isabel Marant. No joke. I just want to say that I am loving the photo booth/flipbook trend that seems to be present at every event. Almost as essential as champagne. Party planners take note. Happy Sunday and goodnight!

Managed to have the most refreshing day lazing in the sun. For some random reason it was raining in Hong Kong and insanely sunny here only one hour away. Strange…but I won’t complain. We are back to the city tomorrow and I’m meeting two of my favourite designers this week!! Can’t wait!! Will keep you updated here… but don’t forget to follow me on everything else for more updates!

This is a sad time for my family as we have lost someone very dear to us. Whether it’s through stories of the past, hazy memories from our youth, or even a small nod and smile of recognition, there are people who make great impressions on our lives. It is a great reminder to live each day to the fullest, enjoy each and every moment, savour your independence and those that you love, and appreciate every blessing you receive.

These pictures are successfully causing me to yearn for a few long days at our country club. My mind seems to be squirming and running so steadily I can barely manage a few hours of deep sleep. I always revert back to the familiar comforts when I need to relax. The thickest, fluffy duvet, air conditioning at an arctic temperature, my favourite episodes playing on repeat, the comforting presence of the boy, and my tiny dog sleeping soundly at my side. A night in is so necessary at this point.

It isn’t always about what you stand to gain, or taking what you need only to throw rest away. In a city where opportunity bangs on your door and envelops every thought, it can be easy to lose your way. I’m learning not to be blinded by vacant kind words, false bonding moments, and empty promises of friendship. Sometimes it’s hard to locate those who actually care, but the few shining hearts are worth the search.
