My new style crush. Sean Lennon’s girlfriend. Model/Singer. Lives between Tokyo and New York. Possesses a wardrobe brimming with Victorian lace dresses, Sergeant Pepper jackets, Seventies fur coats, over 200 vintage kimonos, and a coyote apache headdress.

Personal pics of our activities while in Hong Kong.
late night view of Chanel store in Tsim Tsai Tsui, stock of champagne from Dad’s wine cellar, colliding with random decor while shopping in Kowloon, shochu with oolong tea is a dangerous cocktail, a mini version of myself aka cutest little sister ever, one of the many cute dogs that reside at my Father’s country club, roast duck and bbq pork=boy’s preferred lunch, drool-worthy Joyce window display, all you can eat hotpot in the company of my fav sibling and cousin, and ridiculously delicious japanese bbq.

Winter is seriously settling in, and although London was not ambushed with as much snow as the rest of England, the temperatures are still arctic. I am famously incompetent at dressing for cold weather. I solidly stick to California weather worthy outfits, and just throw in tights and thick coat for good measure. I own two sweaters I actually like, and avoid trousers like the plague. I guess being born in a sunny state coerced my style to be deathly unprepared for a solid winter season. I am still hopeless despite my years in London, but am growing nervous about our upcoming holiday to a Japanese ski resort. What are appropriate shoes? Can a men’s thermal top double as a cute dress over 100 den tights? Are heels dangerous? Will my faux leather leggings be warm enough? The questions are endless so any advice will help. And please don’t let it be, go to Uniqlo and stock up on tons of layering gear…that’s just boring.
Thanks!

When I spotted these boots on sale in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, I knew they had to be mine. Obviously they are a blatant knock-off of Isabel Marant’s coveted booties, but the ridiculously cheap price tag and sheer comfort factor made them irresistible.
I managed to snap up five pairs of shoes during my two week holiday in Hong Kong, so the boy is cutting me off. Passing up Givenchy’s at the Selfridges sale was seriously painful. Why can’t men and women agree about the amount of necessary footwear?

We’ve opened all the presents, sipped enough champagne for a lifetime, marked a new decade with fireworks and laughter, and participated in the last festive reunion before returning to reality. It can be slightly depressing to witness the sparkle factor of each holiday season disintegrate while the masses head back to mundane life, new year detoxes begin, and shops become a clutter of unwanted sales racks. Why is the 1st month of the year so boring? Can this month please pass so more excitement can commence?

Last night was reminiscent, fun, and delicious. The boy and I partied with my two favourite Swedish fashionistas, who also happen to be my former living companions. We danced, laughed, and pondered the past. I plan to spend this year just as it started…with those that I love, vacant of drama, and full of laughter.
Sorry, but I caught very little photo content. Proper outfit shots always slip my mind in moments of drunken amusement. But here’s another outfit just for fun 🙂
Thank you to all my lovely readers for making 2009 a seriously enjoyable blogging experience!

Hope you all have a fabulous night waving goodbye to the noughties! I’ll make sure to wear something sparkle worthy and consume countless bubbles.
