Lobster and sushi poolside, hunting for unique finds at vast Chinese markets, watching movies on a fluffy bed of pillows, packing and planning for Rosemount Australian Fashion Week, late night dinners at grimy streetside cafes, trying for days void of hangovers, and party planning for a million occasions.  I think I need to find time to sleep.

Spotted this editorial today and fell in love all over again.  I think I’ll wear some version of the first look in the near future.  Ideal for hot, but super air conditioned cities.  And I am again reminded the void of a decent pair of headphones in my life.

Waking to bright sunshine and regarding rain as a distant memory definitely enhances the craving for these romantic Julien Macdonald gowns.  Perfect with barefeet and candles on a deserted beach. Too bad my bank balance wouldn’t withstand that kind of blow.

the route to happiness

After a pretty hectic week, and going through a few too many stressful episodes, I was beyond ready for a break.  My Dad’s place greeted us with welcoming sunshine and it seems summer has come to China earlier than usual.  Good friends, yummy dinners, and a pool to lounge beside is pretty essential de-stressing material.  Life has thrown in a few twists, but I think we are now heading towards the right direction.  Packing and planning for Australia next week!!  Who else is going to be at Rosemount Australian Fashion Week?! I can’t wait!!

Life strangely always brings me towards a path of balance.  Striving for success can cause moments of extreme excitement and episodes of panic.  Love’s happiness and contentment carries with it worry and self sacrifice.  The absence of loneliness can bring with it a complete lack of privacy, and boredom can sometimes reveal the most satisfying days.  I’m both scared and ecstatic for what is to come next.
