Everyone went out of their way to ensure we felt at home, and we quickly found ourselves relaxing and unwinding. That evening, we enjoyed a mouthwatering dinner at La Veranda, which elevated traditional Mexican cuisine while also offering expertly grilled steaks and fresh seafood. Our waiter introduced us to a crisp, refreshing Mexican wine that paired beautifully with our meal.

Our guest room was sumptuous and indulgent, featuring a complimentary minibar, a grand marble bathroom, and thoughtful welcome treats. We ended the night with a cozy turndown service that left us feeling pampered and ready for sleep.

The next morning, we awoke to Casa Polanco’s “eye opener” — a tray of coffee and tea delivered quietly to our door at our chosen time. After a leisurely start, we returned to La Veranda for breakfast, where we were treated to a beautiful spread of continental options, fresh pastries and cakes, and made-to-order à la carte dishes. The Mexican selections were a perfect introduction to local flavours, and the service remained impeccable.

Our kids were constantly entertained with a huge variety of fun-filled Kids Club activities, including Mario Kart races, inflatable waverunners, pizza making, arts and crafts, and so much more.  We couldn’t resist relaxing  at the tranquil Zen Spa complete with outdoor massage suites, cold plunge, steam, sauna, and hydrotherapy.  The two main swimming pools were where our family spent most days, just steps from the picturesque beach, and pristine sea.  We booked a private cabana for an added touch of luxury and the service was truly unbeatable.

Dining was a highlight, with a wide selection of high-quality à la carte restaurants and generous all-inclusive perks, including 24-hour room service. We loved the cafe for gourmet coffee and pastries, Lobby Bar for that handcrafted cocktail, the irresistible taco truck, and even sampled authentic Indian, Mexican, and Italian fare.  Casa Cortez is a must for seafood with a side of sea views and book a beach dinner for an exclusive experience.  Hyatt Ziva never disappoints, and Los Cabos is an unbeatable sunny choice for your family getaway.

Rather than the usual cramped hotel room, we were greeted with a spacious suite that included our very own kitchen, cozy living area, and a balcony with lovely views of the tree-lined street below. The panoramic city views from the terrace added to the experience.

We also loved the state-of-the-art fitness center, serene spa, and tranquil vitality pool ideal for some well-deserved adult relaxation while the kids unwound.
