Here’s my must do itinerary during your stay in the Historico area of Mexico City:
-Visit the grand Palacio National where Mexico’s President resides and step into the stunning Cathedral Metropolitana for a glimpse of the breathtaking architecture. Head to Templo Major to witness the remainder of the famous Aztec ruins and learn about its history in the museum below.
-Grab an ice cream from a street vendor and take the kids to see the performers in traditional Aztec dress. Pick up a souvenir from the street side stalls before heading to lunch at the nearest al pastor taco stand.
-Snap a photo outside the uniquely adorned House of Tiles and stroll through tranquil Alameda Central before stopping at the captivating Palacio De Bellas Artes.
