New goals. Start posting regularly again. Life is getting in the way of itself. I’m pretty sure HK eats up hours in a day like no other city and bedtime rolls around as quickly as the morning arrived. I can’t help but be obsessed with the fast paced mood with restaurant openings happening every second day, parties littering every evening and holidays high on most people’s priorities. It’s definitely the coolest place to be a Mummy, where it’s possible to keep up with the masses while spending most of your day with the little one. The boy and I take advantage of rainy Saturdays and while the entire city goes out to play we indulge in family time and movie night. It’s often teamed with insane relief and contentment which builds further excitement for our usual boozy Sunday brunch. Happiness can often be so easily achieved when you are surrounded by all you need.
Maje skirt, Zara boots, Club Monaco bag, and C. by Christing C. tank and blazer.
The sun is shining it’s insanely welcome light on this long weekend. We plan on basking in the heat in hopes of catching just enough color, taking the little one out for fresh air, mingling with the crowds and fitting in a few shopping splurges. I’m always game for an upbeat mood, especially when the rest of the city is joining in. Hoping I have a tropical tan by the time Tuesday rolls around.

Lately…it’s been all about fitting everything possible into twenty-four hours and attempting to enjoy each minute, even if we are surviving on three hours of sleep. Luckily I’m a professional napper and find relaxing part of my DNA so even a little snooze with the bebe on my chest turns into smiles. Getting out and catching up with the real world has played a big part in keeping our sanity. The boy and I have managed to event hop, savour afternoon happy hour drinks, and chat endlessly about nothing with our favourite HK friends without disrupting night feeds or the majority of our precious hours with the little girl. Balance has settled in at an easy pace I hadn’t expected. Lets hope it keeps flowing in this favourable direction.
After a busy week, catch ups with a few of my favourites, and general perusing around town I’m feeling a significant shift back to my former self. My bursting wardrobe is calling my name, an overfull inbox may be looking more interesting by day, and the promise of sunshine in the near future has me trying on my bikini already. Summer is just around the corner and the boy and I have mapped out a busy few months full of holidays, family nights in, extravagant date nights, and even a birthday celebration.
