Skyview Hotel, located in the bustling and stylish Sukhumvit 24, is the perfect stay for anyone visiting Bangkok. We loved the modern and inviting hotel featuring plenty of mouthwatering eateries, trendy rooftop bars, and luxurious suites. Our children received the warmest welcome possible when the kind staff transformed our connecting twin room into a child’s dream. Cartoon themed bedding, a plethora of stuffed animals, safari tent, and even a mini table filled with fun vintage games. Little personal touches were added throughout our stay which made us feel that much more at home. Their room directly connected to our luxurious suite where we had a sumptuous master bedroom and dreamy bathtub. The fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, and open lounge and dining area were used throughout our stay and we loved the far reaching city views from each window.

When we weren’t shopping, indulging in street food or visiting one of the many spas in the area we relaxed beside Skyview’s refreshing rooftop pool. A fully equipped gym was available 24 hours and we couldn’t resist joining La Stella’s wine evening or the insanely fun Halloween Party at MOJJO Rooftop Lounge & Bar.

The fully equipped kitchen was consistently used for our hungry kids and they loved their cozy and modern room beside our own sumptuous master bedroom. The kids couldn’t get enough of the dreamy lagoon pool and I loved sipping coffee or enjoying quiet wine filled dinners at the inviting and sleek Dusit Gourmet. Shopping malls, local eateries, high end supermarkets and child friendly parks were all within easy walking distance and the staff were on hand 24 hours a day to assist throughout our stay. This property is perfect for long term stays with your family, and has all the benefits of a fully equipped apartment while offering 24 hour reception and impeccable service. Our two bedroom suite was incredibly spacious featuring two en-suite bedrooms, an open plan kitchen, dining room, and lounge. We loved Admirals @24, located downstairs where they served hearty breakfasts and mouthwatering Scandinavian fare and the delicious NYC style bagels at the Volks stand in the lobby. There were huge shopping malls, tranquil spas, and delicious eateries right on our front step and we also found plenty of high quality supermarkets so we could shop and create homemade meals in the comfort of our suite. The refreshing rooftop pool offered solace on hot days, and we even made use of the inviting gym. The best part was having the safety and trust of the Oakwood brand and staff while staying somewhere that felt like our own. If you are craving a cozy home for your family during your time in Bangkok this is an amazing option.

We were invited by Hua Hin Marriott Resort to try out the Marriott group’s M Passport program for children and absolutely loved every minute. The beachfront resort boasts five star amenities, mouthwatering restaurants, and incredible family friendly amenities to ensure you have an amazing stay. Run around the splash pad and ignite your imagination in the interactive treehouse. Relax with sea views and a cocktail or take a long stroll down the white sand beach. All children receive a M Passport upon arrival and are encouraged to collect stamps to receive rewards. A fun filled activities calendar is available at the fully staffed Kids Club, where children can partake in art projects, sports, and many other engaging games. The stamps signify tasks which encourage you to use your mind, sports ability, or things that uplift you and make you happy. Ever and River loved keychain making, bag painting, football games, and DIY cotton candy. They were kept busy and excited from morning to evening and were incredibly proud to present their M Passport for a homemade ice cream reward at the end of our stay. We loved seeing them challenged and active, and it also gave us free time for spa treatments or just sunbathing while they were occupied. A perfect choice for families with active children and those who value staying with a trusted five star brand. The kids are still asking to return.

Ever and River spent most of their days in the fully staffed kids club, splashing down the tumultuous water slide, and climbing their way through the interactive playground. Dan and I couldn’t believe, The Barai, Hyatt Regency’s one of a kind luxury spa, and the mouthwatering meals at historic and stylish McFarland House. The amazing location meant we could take long walks along the beach each day as well as explore the many vibrant night markets within walking distance of the property. Our room was comfortable and spacious, while being very accessible to all the amenities. A perfect choice for families or couples looking for a getaway that’s only a few hours from Bangkok.
