Centara Ceysands located on Sri Lanka’s popular Bentota Beach is a fun filled spot for a family getaway. The sprawling five star resort boasts ocean and river views, a large and refreshing swimming pool, direct access to the sandy shores, and delicious dining options. We loved the novelty of taking a short boat journey over the river to enter the resort and were greeted upon arrival with a memorable traditional Sri Lankan performance. The Family Suite incorporated a large master bedroom, comfortable separate lounge area, bunk beds for the kids, and two private balconies. Centara is a great jumping off point for exploring the rest of Sri Lanka and staff are always on hand to help arrange day trips and transportation. We highly recommend the fun and educational mangrove tour and booking a private dining experience on the beach at sunset. An amazing choice for a tranquil and picturesque beach holiday.
