Oceanview balconies boasting a dream worthy view, fruity, potent cocktails while watching the sky light up for yet another stunning sunset, and lounging at arguably the island’s hottest pool while being treated like a rockstar, makes W Retreat & Spa Bali one of the most fun spots to stay. I’m pretty sure I could get used to cold cucumber slices over my eyes while I sip an ice cold coconut by the pool and date nights feasting on decadent fresh seafood at Starfish Bloo. My favourite part had to be Woobar’s cozy couches, perfect for snuggling and getting date night off to a romantic start. Head here if you are looking to show off your hottest bikini paired with those well-earned abs and want to enjoy the trendy side of Bali.

Saying goodnight just after the clock strikes twelve and giving myself a little shove towards an insanely busy week. I am taking giant, shaking steps out of my comfort zone in hopes of pulling my goals a little closer. Being allergic to competition and quitting before I even start is a habit I am hoping to shake. Maybe not all the way, but enough to allow myself success.

long time no see

Ughh. So sorry for the lack of posting. I have been running around non-stop with family visiting and prepartations to dissapear to middle of nowhere China for several days. Random I know. Here are a few pics from what I wore yesterday between parties, dinner, and drinkies with my cousins. Literally running out the door, but I will share more tomorrow!!

P.S. The boy and my new fave hangout is undoubtably W Hong Kong. Woobar has just the right music, scenery, and cocktails. Go visit soon if you haven’t already!

Wednesday was one busy evening. We started at the Library Cafe at Lane Crawford, Canton Road for the Lane Crawford Blitz x Carrera event. All my favourite bloggers were present including Cindiddy, Superwowomg, and The Wanderlister all pictured above. We enjoyed champagne cocktails, nibbled on delicious canapes, and sampled the cool collection of sunnies Carrera had on offer! Our 2nd stop of the night, was the ever trendy W Hotel for their Wednesday Winederlust night. I am not sure why more people don’t know about this, but seriously $260 HKD for free flow assortment of wine, cheese, and other yummy delicacies! All topped off with great music courtesy of DJ Angus Wong. I am very partial to the dark, starry ambiance in Woobar at night, and definitely count it as one of the boy and my favourite places to go for cocktails, wine, and music!

All the excitement caused us to retreat to the country club for 24 hours to recuperate. It’s Friday night and it’s another busy weekend. Lets hope the weather cooperates so all our plans work out!
