We are always looking for luxurious accommodation that is also functional and suitable for those travelling with young children. Having travelled with Ever and River since they were babies we know the importance of luxury fused with comfort and TwinPalms always ticks these boxes. We absolutely love their property adjacent to Surin Beach so decided to check out Twinpalms Montazure during our time in Phuket. Set on picturesque Kamala Beach we were treated to stunning sunsets, crystal blue waves, and a beautiful long sandy stretch on our doorstep. The two bedroom beachfront suite is one of the biggest we’ve seen with two spacious en-suite bedrooms, a large open dining and lounge area, and stunning sea views. We had large dressing rooms to store the many suitcases and a deep bath that was perfectly indulgent after a day at the beach. The highlight was our sprawling private outdoor area encompassing a dining table and refreshing pool. We felt complete seclusion and tranquility but had direct access to the main resort pool and beach. Families will be happy to hear there are two large resort pools for guests, and a stylish beachfront restaurant ideal for leisurely breakfasts and cozy dinners. The staff are consistently kind and accommodating ensuring we felt right at home throughout out stay. A highly recommended choice for a family getaway or even long term stays.

This was our second visit to The Slate Phuket and we were lucky enough to check out their incredible pool villas during this stay. The luxurious five star villas are some of the most decadent in Phuket and perfect if you are craving privacy and tranquility. The secure gate opens to a tropical oasis meticulously designed and maintained. I loved the mix of usable indoor and outdoor areas and the insanely decadent private pool which was a true highlight of our holiday. The master bedroom is housed separately in a quiet and ambient space. You are treated to an indulgent king size bed, huge jacuzzi bath, and stylish interiors. There’s plenty of space to unwind and relax and even add extra beds if you’re travelling with kids. The indoor lounge area is a cozy and elegant space for evening drinks or in-villa dinners. You also have the benefit of an in-villa massage room and relaxing sauna and steam room. Much of my time was spent soaking up the sunshine on the plush couches and we delved into mouthwatering breakfasts and hearty lunches underneath the trees beside our own pool.

There aren’t many reasons to leave your villa, especially as your butler will ensure everything you need is delivered in a timely manner, but The Slate is also a world class resort. Check out their award winning restaurants and five star spa or take a plunge in one of the main resort pools. Tour the grounds and be captivated by the impressive Bill Bensley designed architecture and walk a few steps to Nai Yang Beach to sample a few local street food stands or try the many watersports they have on offer. All of Phuket’s sights, shops, and eateries are only a short drive away and you’ll find yourself right at home when you return to the sanctuary of your villa. Dining was a true highlight of our stay with mouthwatering breakfasts, a delectable Sunday Brunch, and high quality vibrant dishes at Pine Beach Bar. The staff were helpful, accommodating, and always remembered personal preferences while ensuring we had a comfortable five star experience. We couldn’t resist returning to The Racha, one of the dreamiest islands we’ve stayed while traveling around Thailand. Only a short boat ride from the center of Phuket and you’ll step into an idyllic paradise. We are always in awe of the turquoise clear waters, abundance of sea life, and luxurious five star facilities. Families will feel right at home in the two bedroom pool villa where you’ll have plenty of space to unwind and relax. Days were spent hopping from the picturesque resort pools to the white sand beach and then to the privacy of our own infinity pool. We had such an amazing time on our 2nd visit to Marriott Nai Yang. The last time we visited River was only a baby so we loved reminiscing about the previous trip as well as make new memories as a family. The staff were welcoming as always ensuring we felt right at home and always supplied everything we needed throughout our stay. As we were travelling during the pandemic we were grateful for all the safety and hygiene measures as well as the staff setting up private kids activities for Ever and River in the comfort of our villa. Our stunning Beachfront Villa was ideal for families with two huge en-suite bedrooms, a cozy lounge, tons of outdoor space, a private pool, and direct access to child friendly Nai Yang Beach. No visit to Phuket is complete without dinner at Big Fish and we are happy to report the food was even better than our last visit.

You’ll be spoilt for choice with things to do, complimentary watersports, huge resort pools, games for the kids, and a relaxing spa for the parents to indulge. What a vibrant family friendly resort boasting direct access to stunning Kamala Beach. Novotel is always great if you’re traveling with little ones and Novotel Phuket Kamala Beach was no exception. Our suite featured a separate room great for creating an extra bed for young children and they were kindly greeted with a plethora of games and toys to keep them happy and occupied throughout our stay. We loved going from beach to pool each day and dining at the relaxed all day dining restaurant which served some of the best comfort food on the island. On The Roof, their rooftop eatery, was a memorable spot to enjoy picturesque sunsets and every member of staff went out of their way to ensure all our requests were met. We felt right at home the minute we walked into Diamond Cliff Resort’s stunning two bedroom pool villa. The fusion of traditional Thai architecture alongside grand European accents made for a stylish yet rustic ambiance. We fully made use of having two large separate bedrooms, a sprawling lounge and dining area overlooking sea views and especially the fully equipped kitchen. Decadent details included the insanely deep jacuzzi bath, in villa sauna, and of course the beautiful private infinity pool perched above Patong.
