I’ve always dreamt of the perfect accessories collection, which tells a unique story. Something that inspires travel, luxury, and indulgence. For me The9thMuse captures this essence without fault. They introduce a selection highlighting the best of local and international design talent. The intimate boutique boasts a strong familiarity, showcasing a collection any nomadic, fashionable girl would gladly covet. I’m obsessed with their “arm party” selection and the Aztec inspired bags are a must have before departing on any beach holiday. They also have a cute collection of homewares and stationary all waiting to complete your perfect collection. I can’t wait to share with you guys my favourite piece in an outfit post soon!

Aje Sikulu dress on sale at Christing C., cardigan c/o Choies, boots c/o Asos, Cambridge Satchel c/o mybag.com.
Decided not to abandon spring time dressing just because of a little dose of unfortunate weather. Running around manically prepping for fashion week in Sydney next week, and finding ways to get self-employed type work accomplished when there are so many bank holidays that fall in a ridiculously short spanse of time. Enjoying catch-up dates with a few old and new HK friends while hiding from the rain in a near empty bar. Watching 2am sneak up faster than expected and anticipating a deep sleep hoping to encourage more energy for tomorrow.

If you aren’t traveling over this long weekend it’s a good time to reorganize life. I’m not sure why Spring creates cravings of cleaning and purging your home of junk, but I’m definitely caught up in the cliche. Numerous runs to Ikea later we have a far more functional living space and are several kilos lighter in unwanted belongings. It is now time to find a suitable filing system for my wardrobe so dressing each day is efficient rather than mess inducing.
Happy Easter!!

Aje sequin leggings, Forever 21 tee, Maison Scotch jacket, watch c/o TW Steel, Topshop beanie and sneakers, sunglasses c/o Choies,
Happy long weekend Friday!! I’ve been munching chocolate, nursing large cups of ice coffee, and haphazardly making non committal plans for this evening. This is my hide behind a few layers without any make up outfit. It’s useful for quick trips to the corner 7-11 and Starbucks.

fashion gone rogue
It’s a black and white kind of day. Delving deeper into the covers and contemplating over constant cups of steaming tea. Thunder and rain bang in the background as we play, plan, and laze our way through the stormy hours. I don’t crave anything besides the comforting scent of our warm bed and the anticipation of a few more days that require nothing. Maybe I’ll make it outside for a few outfit shots tomorrow if the rain decides to pause for just a few seconds. Until then..

Stolen Girlfriends Club dress on sale at Christing C., Toms shoes c/o Lane Crawford, Givenchy bag.
Skipping around the historical area of Macau, sampling Portuguese restaurants, and sitting next to fountains on a refreshingly windy day. I have never really explored this Asian “Vegas” in the past, but the boy and I are ecstatic about the decadent dining options and slightly European streets. There are plenty little pockets of cuteness to be discovered, and the air feels just a little cleaner than HK’s usual smog

All available at Polkadot Boutique
I can be very habitual about the way I shop, swaying towards the usual websites and high street spots, but last week I took the opportunity to check out Polkadot Boutique located just adjacent to the escalators on Hollywood Road. They carry a perfect mix of local and international emerging designers, and have a seriously cute collection that changes monthly. I recommend visiting their frequent pop-ups if you are interested in discovering unique designers based in Hong Kong. I instantly fell for their new launch VamaStyle and her SS13 collection inspired by European summers, full of bright colours, light silks, and sweet prints. If you love pretty, stackable jewellery they also have a pop-up this month introducing eight5two, a jewellery collection comprised of pretty semi-precious gemstones and delicate 18K gold plating at very affordable prices. Stop in to see the new collections this month and stay tuned for more upcoming pop-ups including Tangram, Bejewelled Bespoke, Cameo, and Rachel Rose.
