Chinese New Years Eve is over, but before I sift through the hundreds of images the boy captured, we decided to relive memories of our actual New Years Eve on December 31st in Taipei. My cousin and her iPhone 4 managed to shoot the night in full animation. So here we go:
Excited start to the night. Family dinner is over and we are so ready to dance.
Exited the club for a few minutes to witness the amazing fireworks at midnight.
Back to dancing and whiskey. I could stay up all night!
Uh Oh… our feet hurt. Bedtime!!
It’s freezing and there are no taxis in sight. It may be a good idea to attempt the four walk home. Surely a taxi will appear along the way.
Two hours later and the streets are still barren. Screw the shoes. Why am I not one of those girls who carries flats in her bag?!
An hour away from home and our legs have collapsed. Lets seek solace in a random roadside restaurant. I’m sure a taxi will just appear at the entrance.
Nevermind…we’re never getting home. Lets eat and attempt to sleep on this table. Goodnight.
*20 minutes later a two taxis did appear at the entrance…We’re just that lucky 😉
