Tucked away in one of London’s most elegant neighborhoods, Eccleston Square Hotel feels both indulgent and intimate. On my recent stay, I checked into a Balcony King Room, and it was nothing short of magical. High ceilings and tall French doors opened onto a private balcony overlooking Eccleston Square’s award-winning gardens, a serene and leafy retreat that feels like stepping into a private world. Few London hotels offer such a calming outlook, especially from your own bed. And the bed itself, a handcrafted Hästens king-size, was electronically adjustable for deep sleep or even a massage at the touch of a button.
The technology blends seamlessly with the elegance. SmartGlass walls between bedroom and bathroom, discreet smart TVs, and curtains that glide back at the press of a button. A steady supply of Nespresso pods and bottled water made lazy mornings effortless, especially when paired with the hotel’s delicious continental breakfast.
Step outside, and you are in one of London’s prettiest pockets. Ask reception for access to the private gardens and you can wander among quiet paths, ancient trees, and benches tucked into shaded corners. A short stroll takes you to Elizabeth Street with its pastel-fronted shops and artisan boutiques. Just around the corner, Eccleston Yards sparkles at night with independent eateries and creative studios.
For a romantic escape or a stylish base to explore Belgravia, Eccleston Square Hotel is modern luxury wrapped in timeless charm.
