Malaysia Travel Diary: The Westin Langkawi

Langkawi is often missed as a family holiday spot, but it’s a perfect Asian beach destination for families. A little more undiscovered than Bali, quiet and serene, and boasts beautiful views of the Andaman Sea. We loved staying at The Westin Langkawi with our children during our visit to the island and celebrated Dan’s birthday with the help of their lovely staff. The resort offers large two bedroom suites ideal for families, and a white sand beach with calm water your little ones will enjoy. Sunsets from our picturesque terrace were unbeatable each evening and we enjoyed date nights after the kids’ bedtime at the bars and beachfront dining venues. The Westin caters extremely well to families with children offering a delicious kids menu, fun watersports, an air conditioned kids club for rainy days, and several large swimming pools with shallow areas. We had a perfect few days and Ever and River still talk about all the fun that was had. A family holiday which will easily suit many tastes and preferences.
