All Saints Shirt, C. by Christing C. Capri Dress, Club Monaco leopard print bag, Asos boots, ManiaMania necklace.

After a busy week, catch ups with a few of my favourites, and general perusing around town I’m feeling a significant shift back to my former self.   My bursting wardrobe is calling my name, an overfull inbox may be looking more interesting by day, and the promise of sunshine in the near future has me trying on my bikini already.   Summer is just around the corner and the boy and I have mapped out a busy few months full of holidays, family nights in, extravagant date nights, and even a birthday celebration.

C. by Christing C. Westbourne Cardigan available online.
Wildfox tank, Aje Skirt, and Asos boots.

I become bored of doing the same thing each week, which is why I always create change. Flying around in circles repeating that day perpetually can turn something exciting to something very dull.  It may mean missing little things I enjoyed, having a few less opportunities in a certain circle, but at least I don’t feel stuck.  Jumping around, playing with your interests and identity, and pressing fast forward instead of replay is the only way to keep things interesting.

Stolen Girlfriends Club Camo Snakes T-shirt dress coming soon to Christing C.,  boots c/o Asos, One Teaspoon belt.

It’s been so wet everyday in HK lately, so when I spotted a gigantic, ominous cloud while gymming I decided an oversized tee and ankle boots would be a safe bet for a stormy Tues night. I can’t believe May has rolled around so quickly. Lets hope the weather perks up so we can welcome Summer to the city. The boy and I have been in bed all day plotting imminent travels and trips. Can’t wait for a plane packed few months.

Decided not to abandon spring time dressing just because of a little dose of unfortunate weather.  Running around manically prepping for fashion week in Sydney next week, and finding ways to get self-employed type work accomplished when there are so many bank holidays that fall in a ridiculously short spanse of time.  Enjoying catch-up dates with a few old and new HK friends while hiding from the rain in a near empty bar.  Watching 2am sneak up faster than expected and anticipating a deep sleep hoping to encourage more energy for tomorrow.

Stolen Girlfriends Club Split Up Skirt from Christing C., Maison Scotch jacket, Topshop tank, boots c/o Asos.

It sounds ridiculously superficial but my hair is finally getting to to where I want it to be.  After one too many bad cuts and colours I’ve finally discovered something I can’t live without.  Thanks Marek!!

Zara coat, Insight 51 tank, One Teaspoon shorts, Asos socks, Cheap Monday wedges.

Barely have a moment to breathe.  Planned a million nights in only to pile my days without a spare minute.  Birthday week commences on Sunday and Christmas will follow very soon after.  Looking forward to quiet nights with the ones I love, and for the city become slightly more silent than the million parties that currently dominate my every move.
On a high note, I’m excited the weather is cold enough for one of my favourite coats.  Who knew something from Zara would be such a forever staple in my winter wardrobe??

Zadig&Voltaire fur vest, tank top courtesy of Asos, One Teaspoon shorts from Electric Sekki, and Louis Vuitton belt, Celine sunglasses.
Sundays.  Made for unlimited champagne and bloody marys, delving into comfort food throughout the day, wearing you favourite comfy outfit of the moment, sunglasses even after sunset, and very early bedtimes.

Still so annoyed our DSLR is at the repair centre 🙁 I promise there will be outfit posts as soon as we gurantee it’s safe return.

Topshop sweatshirt, Aje skirt from Christing C. Cambridge Satchel courtesy of mybag.com, boots courtesy of Asos. Forever 21 necklace.

Trying to be productive in the boy’s absence.  This includes plenty of girls nights out, utilising my sparkling new bike, and keeping unread messages in my inbox to a minimum.  So far so good.

Lots of exciting stuff going on for Fashion Hedonism next week!

Can’t wait to share with you all soon!!

Laters!

Being handed a series of confusing thoughts, a list of uncertanties, wondering what to trust. My instinct is to run full speed ahead and contemplate the consequences on a later date, but finding yourself in a relatively new place opens the door for a questioning mind.  I value full hearted smiles, unrestricted laughter, unguarded loyalty, and genuine support.  Those close to my heart say I’m vulnerable, too quick to give and so easy to wound.  The truth is I find it impossible not to care, my instinct is always to help, and worries constantly plague my mind when I can’t turn around with out guessing what they may say.  But for now all I can do is stand tall, brave the daunting path, and hope I dont fall along the way.  Taking small steps until I find the courage to run.
