I have joined the tumblr revolution and am overwhelmed by the insane amount of inspiration that is available in one place. If like me, you love scrolling through thousands of fashion images daily, this is the place for you.
Topshop skirt, top from random Hong Kong boutique, Rolex watch, Kipling bag, and Sam Edelman boots.
Hong Kong date nights for the boy and I mean Japanese grill dinner and champagne and wine on Wyndham Street. Perfect activity before before the weekend rush.

I love pleasantly sunny days where it feels almost appropiate to wear an outfit that resembles pajamas. So not a boy friendly outfit, but who needs to feel sexy when you’re this comfortable?

H&M cardigan, Free People dress, Low Luv necklace, Zara bag, and Mango boots.
Life strangely always brings me towards a path of balance. Striving for success can cause moments of extreme excitement and episodes of panic. Love’s happiness and contentment carries with it worry and self sacrifice. The absence of loneliness can bring with it a complete lack of privacy, and boredom can sometimes reveal the most satisfying days. I’m both scared and ecstatic for what is to come next.

Craving a luxurious party simmering with mystery, light music and floods of champagne, a decadent heavily embellished dressed with a back almost low enough to be deemed scandalous, and the delicious scent of Chanel de Bleu coming from the one I love.
Maybe next weekend 😉

Jacket and scarf from Chinese market, AA tank, Topshop shorts, Mango boots.
I must have been seriously lacking in the sleep department, because I have spent a fair amount of this weekend slumbering my days away. The boy and I have test drove a few new bars and restaurants, but tonight we’re going back to the familiar and visiting the first hotpot joint we fell in love with in this city. The weather is almost too hot for that kind of dining so it may be the last time before Hong Kong’s scorching season descends upon us.

Forever 21 cardigan, AA tank, shorts from street stall in Taipei, Wolford socks, Zara boots, Alexander Wang bag, and sunnies from boutique in Taipei.
Taking breaks between shopping and lunching to relax in our air conditioned sanctuary otherwise known as home. Almost forgot how hectic Saturdays can be in some parts of the city, but I am indulging in the fact that you can probably never feel lonely. Hong Kong is one of those places where every restaurant is fully booked on weekends. Apparently nobody ever eats in, so we’re going to attempt it tonight. I haven’t cooked a thing in over four months, so I’m definitely anticipating the familiar taste. But knowing us, and the close proximity to delectable eateries and our front door, take-out is also a likely option 😉
Hope you are all enjoying your Saturdays!!

Gearing up for a weekend in Hong Kong. Will most likely be more tame than usual seeing as the boy and I don’t have our usual partners in crime, but jam packed nonetheless. Sometimes all you need is someone who makes you laugh to remedy a stressful week. Happy Friday!!
xoxo

Vintage sweater, top from market in China, Topshop shorts, Mango boots.
Recently found a new clothing market to dig through weekly, saw a four foot long snake slither past me during lunch break, dabbled in Chinese social networking despite not being able to read Chinese, full heartedly decided I will be attending Australian Fashion Week in May, and allocated red bean soup as my new favourite snack. Back in Hong Kong tomorrow. Looking forward to a weekend in buzzing city atmosphere.
