Taipei has been all about insane amounts of food, late night heart to hearts with the girls, unbearable scorching hot weather, family time and gigantic round table meals, bottles of Grey Goose, Taiwan beer, and far too many sake bombs, endless laughter, random naps, and a pretty good distraction from missing the boy.  Just a few more days…

By some happy coincidence it seems all my cousins happened to visit Taipei at the exact same time. It has been at least 10 years since this kind of reunion, and many of us were still far too young to participate in the fun activities that will take place this weekend.  Can’t wait to see what trouble we will get into!

Top from boutique in Taipei, Monki top over Topshop shorts, Miss Selfridge headband, necklace from market, and Topshop shoes.
My brother and I rushed out of our apartment just in time to capture the sun as it set.  The light peeking through such a familiar skyline makes for an expectedly calm setting.  We may have been forced to dodge oncoming traffic every so often, but it was worth the results.  Hope you guys like!

Denim shirt from boutique in Taipei, Steve Madden heels, Karen Walker sunglasses.

I have taken the opportunity to delve head first into work responsibilities while the boy has been away.  Apparently I am very productive when bored and lonely.  One more week before he returns, but my bro and I have planned an impromptu trip to Taipei to visit all our favourites for the weekend.  Two days of real life before departure!

xoxo

(Shot by Daniel Garriga. Styled by Priscilla I’Anson. In collaboration with Elite Photography & Electric Sekki.)
As I mentioned in the last post, I have recently been introduced to Electric Sekki, an innovative fashion company based in Hong Kong.  I was incredibly honored and flattered when they chose me as one of Hong Kong’s ten up-and-and coming creatives and allowed me to be involved in this exciting project with such talented people.

Below Electric Sekki explains the inspiration behind the collaboration.

Les Artistes is a creative project tuned into presenting the bright young eyes behind Asia’s creative industry.

The goal is to discover and present the up-and-coming new powers in the creative industry and present them in an aspirational light, styled in the hottest luxury and contemporary brands.

At the helm of the project sits collaborative international forces, fashion photographer/director Daniel Garriga, Elite Studio and fashion culture instigators, Electric sekki.

This FW11 season Les Artistes presents ten Hong Kong creatives who are making their mark across the fashion and design industries wearing brands reflective of their aspirational lifestyles.

I was recently introduced to an innovative company at the forefront of Hong Kong’s fashion industry.  Electric Sekki successfully integrates international fashion brands into the Asian market through brand management and distribution.   Their portfolio includes many of my favourite designers such as One Teaspoon, Sass&Bide, Richard Nicoll, Ksubi, Twenty8Twelve, RVCA, Insight, and the list goes on.  I am currently involved in their new project, Les Artistes, which is dedicated towards introducing ten Hong Kong creatives who they believe will be the new powers in the creative industry.  I have a teaser video from the project to share with you guys soon, but first lets just drool over the incredible collections from Electric Sekki’s insanely stylish showroom.

H&M gold trousers, AA top, Rolex watch.

It is 6pm on a Saturday and I can barely keep my eyes open.  I have lost all motivation to get ready despite numerous plans and am looking for any excuse to stay in this bed for the rest of the night.  Saturdays are definitely not made for early mornings, dealing with contractors, and spending hours sorting out necessities for our business.  I plan on sleeping through Sunday, but for now I will drag myself to the mirror and attempt to make this mess look presentable.

Yesterday, I was given the amazing opportunity to interview/chat with Richard Nicoll and actually have him style me in one of the looks from his Resort 2012 collection.  He was incredibly down to earth, funny, and I have fallen in love with the bright pink sheer dresses from the collection I haven’t had time to go through my recording of the interview, but here are a few pics from yesterday!  I promise to post all the questions and answers soon!

Dress from boutique in Island Beverly (Causeway Bay), Versace leather jacket, Steve Madden boots, and Rolex watch.

The boy has left me to visit our former home, London, for two entire weeks.  I can feel the separation anxiety already.  To tell the truth, we are one of those weird couples that have never been apart for more than four days in over 5 years.  Not the lovey dovey, always kissing in your face, makes you kinda feel sick to your stomach type, but we are pretty much best friends and joined at the hip.  Don’t worry, he left my brother behind to help with blog pictures, and we’re already planning his “Welcome Back to Hong Kong” dinner party so life will be back to normal shortly.  Until then I will be attempting to use my new membership at Fitness First,  hanging out with friends I recently met, concentrating on fun projects, and probably throw in a few parties in between.

Make sure to visit the blog tomorrow for pics and coverage of my interview with Richard Nicoll!!
