December is the month of gifting and giving to loved ones, but for me it’s also a month of receiving 🙂  My birthday just so happens to fall a few days before Christmas so I spend the months leading up to this generous and love filled month hinting and compiling a list of things I hope to unwrap before New Year’s Eve arrives.  The9thMuse has been my go-to accessories stop in HK, so here’s a wish list I compiled of a few of my favourite items from their lust worthy and trendy collection.
Visit their store this Thurs-Sun to check out the pieces for yourself and also drop in on the C. by Christing C. pop-up taking place in store!  Pick up all your holiday party necessities and of course a few gifts too.

Montmartre Sweater, One Teaspoon shorts, H&M hat, and Zara boots.

The boy and I are playing with some exciting news and buzzing around planning for the holiday season.  December is almost the most fun but equally stressful and tiring.  I can’t wait for the end of the month when we get a chance to sit down to a few quiet meals.  I plan on treating myself to plenty of holiday food and of course a last minute holiday.  We are thinking NYE in Paris.  Sounds dreamy no?  Hope you guys are loving December too.

Black skinny jeans and grey knit sweater courtesy of 7 for all Mankind.
We are easing into winter here, and 7 for all Mankind is making it seriously easy with cozy open knits and skinnies I am even happy to wear.  Some evenings tights just won’t do, and these snakeskin printed stretchy jeans are the ideal Friday night go to solution.  Paired with my favourite faux fur and I’m ready to run out the door.

 C. by Christing C. Cambridge Shirt, Maurie&Eve shorts, Vintage Wrangler shirt wrapped around waist.
I wore this for a casual Sunday with the boy.  I love all the masculine aspects in this look, but with a seriously sexy twist.  I often borrow tees and shirts from the boy, so toyed with the idea of a cropped version of a men’s style.  The baggy fit takes away any scariness this shorter length may bring.  Pair with anything high waisted for an easy outfit to go.

Market find slouchy sweater layered over the C. by Christing C.  Le Marais Dress.  H&M boots.

Some weekends it’s fun to avoid any trace of glitz and glam over flat beat up boots, flimsy fabrics, and cozy knitwear.  I love taking long walks with the boy and playing around with layers in the lightly cool weather.  No Monday blues here.  We have an exciting week ahead so I’ll keep you guys updated 🙂

MinkPink cardigan, Moussy top, C. by Christing C. Oxford Skirt, Carin Wester furry backpack, Steve Madden booties.
The best part about cooler temperatures that actually don’t reach cold standards means you can play with layers and textures without actually risking any effect on your body temperature.  When else can you pair a furry backpack with open toe booties?  I was in a playful mood last night, and excited to roam the streets with the boy.  We sipped on happy hour prosecco, looked on enviously at fresh pizzas while resisting the urge to munch before dinner, and ended up at a Spanish feast to complete the night.  We have both been taking exercise pretty seriously lately, which has resulted in lots of complaints mixed in with a sense of accomplishment.  I still can’t believe the word “Christmas” keeps popping up in conversation.  Is it really that close by?

I’ve been wearing this top non-stop.  It’s so easy to add extra kick to a monotone outfit, and perfect for beginners mixing prints.  It paired perfectly over a bikini during our beach holiday and now works with anything black leather back in the city.  We’ve just added it online so make sure to hop over the Christing C. and get your own.

This weekend was all about brunching and early bed times.  I’m kinda confused as to how it passed so quickly, but I guess sleeping takes up a lot of time.  The boy and I are learning to take time out just for us, something we have become pretty addicted to since our month on the road.  Hong Kong can be incredibly fast paced, but there are always pockets of serenity where you can hide and disappear for a few days.

  Wearing C. by Christing C.

Hi all! Happy Friday.  Are you guys as excited as I am for extra sleep and long brunches.  This week has taken a toll on the boy and I, so we think we may lay low this evening.   That means veggie soup, a light workout, tons of movies, and of course sneaky naps in between.  Promise for more exciting adventures tomorrow.
