My S/S 13 picks from Steve Madden.
Available at their Central Central store
1/F Central Building, 3 Pedder Street, Hong Kong
Steve Madden is definitely one of my go to spots for affordable and trendy shoes, so I was very excited when they asked me to help host a fun fashion and shopping event with them at Central Central.   Central Central hosts several fashion shows each year showing their new season colletions and this time Steve Madden teamed up with Betsey Johnson for a fun dance party/fashion show.  I sipped champagne, sampled all the new styles, and caught up with favourite bloggers, Denise, JJ, Daniel, Sha, and Zoe.  I will post the shoes I chose to take home with me that night very soon!!

Vintage skirt and Zara boots.
Thursday nights are made for wandering the city sans plans, searching for just the right kind of date spot.  Finding ways to disappear at busy venues, and contemplating what hour would be suitable for bed.  Musing about a year of travelling, exploring, and wander lusting.

printed shorts and skirt from Christing C.

My moods are always partial to food and novels during rainy weeks in Hong Kong.  I am quickly absorbing a giant stack of novels, dreaming about the fluffy chocolate enhanced churros from Boqueria, getting used to the missing four inches from my long locks and growing increasingly attached to my baseball cap collection, spending Halloween in Christian Louboutin with Christian Louboutin, and contemplating a very quiet weekend away.

Hope you all had a very Happy Halloween!

The end of a prolonged weekend, and the end of procrastination.  I must delve into the longest to do list ever created, but am sharing a few recent images first.

Long days on the water, sipping champagne against Aqua’s picturesque windows, exposing my delicate palate to the deliciously french Ciroc vodka, learning that pollution creates the most breathtaking sunsets, and fueling my growing obessession with baseball caps.

That’s all.

P.S. most of my favourite things are on sale at Christing C. Make sure to check it out and use “hedonism” at checkout for a special discount just for my readers!!

Currently ending the weekend in bed with the boy, devouring a gigantic bowl of pasta and enjoying random cartoons.  Feeling incredibly lucky for the amazing people in my life, and the fact that despite September’s end in the near future the weather is still imitating summer enough to allow for a day on the yacht.  Days like this make me really heart Hong Kong.

Trying to be productive in the boy’s absence.  This includes plenty of girls nights out, utilising my sparkling new bike, and keeping unread messages in my inbox to a minimum.  So far so good.

Lots of exciting stuff going on for Fashion Hedonism next week!

Can’t wait to share with you all soon!!

Laters!

Friday night with the boy.  Sweeping views, sampling variations of the mojito, enjoying the rare but delctable Hong Kong breeze, and ending up in our usual no fuss hotpot restaurant to finish the night.  Happy the weekend has arrived 🙂

Private kitchens are a dining concept that is taking over Hong Kong’s social gatherings.  Due to minature kitchens, shoebox apartments, and everyone’s obsession with eating out, private kitchen dining is Hong Kong’s answer to the housewife’s dinner party.  They come in all sizes, cuisines, levels of intimacy, and can be as dressy or casual as ever.  Last night the boy and I were invited to sample the fancy, elegant version of this eating style and were pleasantly surprised.  I am not one for the causual, I’m dining in some stranger’s living room type restaurant, so Casa is definitely the private kitchen for me.  Intimate, delicious, chic, and stylish.  The portions were reasonable enough that a bodycon dress wouldn’t be out of the question, and I am always partial to a seafood heavy menu.

If you are interested in food pictures and reviews, stay tuned for the boy’s take on the experience, which will be featured on Hungry Hong Kong and The Wanderlister later this week!

Bec & Bridge cami available at Christing C., Forever 21 cardigan, One Teaspoon shorts, MISCHA clutch.

The boy and I dedicated Wednesday to partaking in seriously lazy behaviour on an idyllic patch of grass conveniently set affront the captivating Hong Kong view.  We dutifully crated a cooler of ice cold beverages, my gigantic Missoni towel, and a petite camera to meet one of our Hong Kong favourites for a day drinking session outdoors.  We feasted on a huge meal provided by the famous Chicken Man,  sipped too many bottles of wine, watched the hazy sunset, and chatted about everything and anything until nightfall.  Sometimes you only need the bare necessities, fun personalities, and alcohol fuelled laughter to make the perfect day.

Also there are lots New Arrivals on Christing C., including Aje, Maurie & Eve, Paper Crown, and Bec & Bridge!

Go check it out now!!
