Stolen Girlfriends Club dress on sale at Christing C., Toms shoes c/o Lane Crawford, Givenchy bag.

Skipping around the historical area of Macau, sampling Portuguese restaurants, and sitting next to fountains on a refreshingly windy day.  I have never really explored this Asian “Vegas” in the past, but the boy and I are ecstatic about the decadent dining options and slightly European streets.  There are plenty little pockets of cuteness to be discovered, and the air feels just a little cleaner than HK’s usual smog

Sundays are perfect for lazing about in walkable footwear,  playing dress up with a million prints and layers, and fun catch up dates over comfort food. The boy and I indulged in a late lunch of hot dogs and poutine, strolled around a weirdly deserted Sheung Wan, and enjoyed the breezy Spring air.  After a chilled Saturday and brunch less Sunday I am feeling slightly healthier than my usual hedonistic self.  Don’t worry the boring behaviour won’t last, but we just needed a little break and time to recharge.

P.S. How cute is this heart print skirt? Perfect for mixing prints and fun Spring outfits!  More to share about VamaStyle and Polkadot Boutique very soon 🙂

One Teaspoon dress from Electric Sekki, Carin Wester blazer from Christing C., Zara boots, H&M hat.

Mondays are the most mundane of all days. I try my best to soften the reality blow, plan as little as possible and even treat myself to weekend mimicking moments, but the truth always sits atop your worries and thoughts. The pressure of accomplishing and knowing the expectations of the week. Should I or shouldn’t I juice fast? Does two hours at the gym wipe away Sunday’s sins? How many emails are shouting for responsible girl responses? I think responsible me is often so fake. I’ll always be the girl that craves staying as long as possible in bed, refuses to understand the simple math behind calorie counting, and avoids daunting tasks with a truly believable feigned ignorance. Hope your mind is swirling a little less than mine today.

I’m wearing Stylein cardigan on sale at Christing C., Minkpink tank c/o Zooq, Plush socks c/o Shopbop, One Teaspoon shorts, Cheap Monday wedges.
Sandro Leopard print sneakers in image 3.
Sake trolley from Kyoto Joe (LKF) and dirty martinis from W Hong Kong.
Finally the weekend is here and I am allowed to spend an entire morning lounging around not really thinking about anything at all.  The unusually cold day is causing me to retreat further into hibernation mode, hoping to avoid all social interactions.  Sometimes it’s easier just to spend time with the boy while ignoring anything and anyone in between.  Currently taking any favourite cartoon recommendations.  We are addicted to watching animation while hungover.  The more vintage the better.

Carin Wester blouse from Christing C., One Teaspoon shorts, Zara wedges, Rolex Watch, and H&M bracelet.

Time is speeding at a faster pace than I am really prepared to handle.  Spring seems to have already sprung in Hong Kong, which means big trip this April and June are just around the corner.  I’m prepping for some exciting new ventures, and just trying to keep up with a semblance of normality from day to day.  Daily gym visits are becoming a must, and working until 5am is has transformed me into a person who is okay with just six hours of sleep.  Stranger things have happened.

Daisies and an Americano seemed like the perfect addition to a quiet afternoon in the park.  After a long lunch and thoughts of the busy week ahead, the boy and I treated ourselves to a few hours of nothing.  I am happy to announce my new found love for fresh flowers and the discovery of a perfectly affordable stand right beside our home.  Hoping the boy is taking note 😉

Despite 20 degrees of perfect spring-like weather, the beach is more or less deserted in January.  The boy and I traispsed to South Bay yesterday to witness a sunset at one of our favourite spots and BBQ until nightfall.  We managed to capture plenty of images too.  Hazy HK skies makes for a lighting gold mine.  I can’t wait to return.

One Teaspoon kimono and shorts, Unif Hellraisers courtesy of Shopbop, Topshop beanie, and Celine sunglasses.

Mapping out my year one month at time makes you feel how little you can cram into what seems like forever.  Important trips and goals are set with high expectations and the rest seems to fall into place, searching for the right spot in my haphazard, wandering schedule.  The urge to be lazy, and want to experience so much at the same time always gets in the way of real accomplishment, so I’m trying to do more than just saying it out loud.  But plans are always a good first step.

Carin Wester Romy Jacket from Christing C., Zara silk Men’s shirt, One Teaspoon Bonitas, Givenchy Nightingale, and Zara wedges.

Testing out the undone menswear look on top with barely anything on the bottom.  I kinda wish this shirt was a few inches longer so I could have converted it into a full on dress.  Wore this last night to eat in a crazily over crowded hole in the wall and meet friends at another Soho bar.  Stayed up way past my bedtime and managed to slumber until 3pm this afternoon.  I feel like I have stay at home jetlag on the weekends.

Both of my fave HK DJ’s are playing tonight in HK!! DJ Angus Wong at W Hong Kong opening for Plastic Plates and Eve Speciall over at XXX for a crazy “surreal” party!  Come join us!
