The boy and I dedicated Wednesday to partaking in seriously lazy behaviour on an idyllic patch of grass conveniently set affront the captivating Hong Kong view. We dutifully crated a cooler of ice cold beverages, my gigantic Missoni towel, and a petite camera to meet one of our Hong Kong favourites for a day drinking session outdoors. We feasted on a huge meal provided by the famous Chicken Man, sipped too many bottles of wine, watched the hazy sunset, and chatted about everything and anything until nightfall. Sometimes you only need the bare necessities, fun personalities, and alcohol fuelled laughter to make the perfect day.

What I wore to the first Hong Kong Fashion Bloggers “Style Summit” hosted by Linguini Fini and Peroni. I always love catching up with my favourites, meeting new faces, and the addition of great food and drinks never hurt.

I have spent the entire day in bed trying to recuperate from Cindiddy‘s blogger birthday dinner/whiskey and cake overconsumption. Life has been causing an abnormal amount of anxiety and uncertainty these past few weeks, but it looks like things are going to get a little brighter. Sometimes you need to feel a little lost to give yourself the chance to appreciate all that you are lucky to possess.

Off to bed now. It will be a cozy and quiet Saturday night for me 🙂

My default outfit this week… a cozy grandpa cardigan with a unique twist, baby soft white tank, destroyed denim shorts, and knit socks because I keep forgetting to purchase tights. Unfortunately I managed to misplace the hat after a raucous, sake fuelled dinner and am pretty sure it would be inappropriate to repeat this outfit in the presence of anyone who has been in my company these past few days. Partaking in a chilled night in bed with the boy before heading to the countryside for the weekend. My mood is definitely craving a little momentary silence.
