The most wonderful time of. year with Thompson Central Park.  We had such an amazing stay at this luxurious family friendly hotel in the days leading up to Christmas.  Located just a stone’s throw from Central Park, 5th Avenue, Times Square, Rockefeller Center, and Bryant Park you’ll be spoilt for things to do and an unbeatable ambiance at the center of the buzzing city.  Our children loved ice skating at Wollman Rink, visiting FAO Schwartz and we enjoyed all the stylish eateries and shopping at Sak’s 5th Avenue.   Our five star suite was a decadent home away from home with a sumptuous king size bed, cozy separate lounge and dining space, as well as all the luxury amenities we desired in the modern bathroom.  Parker’s, Thompson Central Park’s in-house bar and restaurant, houses all the best New York ambiance, incredible cocktails and delicious fare.  The staff were always consistently available to arrange transport, make reservations and recommendations, and suggest child friendly activities around the city.  An ideal choice for families looking for luxury and comfort at the heart of New York City.  Rest assured you and your children will have a stay to remember.

We were so excited to visit Peru’s famous beach town Paracas and stay at the luxurious Radisson Resort Paracas.  The modern five star resort sits on prime oceanfront location and offers all you need for a sunny family getaway.  We loved the refreshing and stylish swimming pool, mouthwatering eateries, and idyllic private beach.  Our Ocean Front Suite was perfect for a family of four with a spacious separate lounge and dining area, and a beautiful balcony featuring ocean views.  Dining options were a huge highlight from fresh local seafood and their signature ceviche to a fun grill night under the stars.  Cocktails at sunset are an absolute must and staff are always on hand to help arrange tours and transport as well as ensure you have a seamless stay.  The family activities and kids corner is a huge bonus for those travelling with little ones and the fun and engaging team ensured there were plenty of activities to keep our children occupied and happy.  We highly recommend a tour of the Paracas National Reserve with Destinations Ica for a scenic and educational experience.  A perfect beach break just a few hours south of Lima.

Lake Titicaca is a must visit in Peru and one of the most stunning sights in the country.  We loved staying at GHL Lago Titicaca situated on an island placed at the center of the lake’s magnificent scenery.  We loved the cozy lodge vibes, delicious fare at their elegant restaurant and the modern guestooms boasting panoramic views.  Just steps from the entrance is a picturesque trail where you can stroll along the tranquil lake and even meet a few alpacas and llamas.  Staff were always on hand to assist with booking tours and transportation and the on site pier makes it easy to visit the famed Uros Islands during your stay.  An amazing choice for families seeking luxury and tranquility while visiting Lake Titicaca.

Visit Cusco with Sonesta Hotel Cusco and discover the vibrant historic city.  We loved the family friendly property with cozy and modern guestrooms, incredible views, and inviting staff.  Each morning we started our day at the delicious and varied buffet breakfast before walking into the Plaza de Armas to explore the plethora of ancient sights.  You’re just a short walk to many mercados, eateries, and cafes and we couldn’t miss the opportunity to buy handcrafted souvenirs or take a picture with a cute baby lamb. Palacio Manco Capac is the perfect luxury choice for discovering the city of Cusco. Ollantaytambo was one of our favorite destinations in Peru, and El Albergue is an ideal choice for families looking to experience the charming town.  Set at the famous train station it’s a perfect jumping off point for exploring Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley.  The rustic yet stylish boutique hotel boasts comfortable guestrooms with modern amenities, beautiful grounds surrounded in lush greenery, and an on site organic farm.  We loved their farm to table dining options and sampling the traditional Pachamanca Lunch.  Our kids enjoyed meeting the resident animals and exploring the local school and we were only a few minutes walk to the artisanal market, historic ruins, and main town square.  Service was always friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the mix of traditional Peruvian ethos alongside world class hospitality.
