Our first trip to Medellin and we are so happy we were able to experience it with York Luxury Suites.  The modern and stylish five star property was ideal for our family and the perfect jumping off point for exploring the vibrant city.  We received a warm welcome at the chic and inviting lobby and were throughly impressed with the efficient service and accommodating guest relations team.  The modem suites feature a large open space incorporating a fully equipped kitchen, cozy lounge space, decadent queen beds, and panoramic city views.  Luxury facilities include a stunning rooftop pool, mouthwatering all day dining restaurant, and comfortable social spaces for guests.  We loved the central location making it easy to visit popular sights, museums, and shopping malls as well as check out the incredible dining scene.  Medellin was an amazing city full of fun, culture, and scenery and York Luxury Suites ensured a safe and comfortable stay alongside world class service.

The undeniably stylish and charming Elcielo was my favourite hotel in Medellin.  As soon as you’re greeted at the entrance you know you’ll be treated to luxury and comfort.  I loved the modern yet elegant decor, impeccable and refined service, alongside grand suites with a fine attention to detail.  Our decadent bed felt like sleeping on a cloud and the alluring bathtub at the center of the suite was an indulgent spa like treat.  Their breakfast was leisurely and delicious with a variety of elevated international and local options. La Romana brings a tranquil and idyllic side of the Dominican Republic.  We stayed at the welcoming and picturesque Bahia Principe Grand La Romana and throughly enjoyed the stunning all inclusive.  The classic guestrooms were great for families with a cozy lounge space and private outdoor terrace and we were only steps from the refreshing pool and golden sand beach.  The Caribbean resort sits on prime beachfront real estate with calm waters, palm tree fringed shores, and spectacular sunsets.  We loved the variety of activities including swimming pool games and sports, foam parties, a fully staffed Mini Club, and nightly entertainment for the whole family.  Foodies can choose from the international buffet or an array of a la carte restaurants and service was consistently helpful and efficient.  An optimal choice for those looking for a relaxing and scenic getaway in the Dominican Republic.

Riu Palace is always one of our favourite all inclusive brands and their fun-filled Punta Cana location was no exception. We loved the sprawling property complete with modern guestrooms, a variety of swimming pools, and optimal beachfront location. They not only taught them the necessary skills but were animated and engaged ensuring the kids laughed and played while learning.  The relaxing swimming pool at Hooked was a welcome respite after a morning on the beach and we made full use of the facilities including a bbq, ping pong table, and private outdoor patio.  Our family studio was spacious and easily slept our family of four.
