Lettera Hotel, set at the heart of beautiful Medellin, is the perfect boutique hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.  We loved the friendly ambiance, helpful staff, and modern and luxurious guestrooms.  The hotel boasted plenty of cozy social spaces to relax with coffee or wine and we enjoyed the outside courtyard surrounded in lush greenery and Medellin’s amiable spring weather.  Breakfast was served each morning with a variety of healthy and local options and guests could choose to enjoy it in the welcoming and light restaurant or cuddled up in bed for a lazy start to the day.  Lettera Hotel is located in the popular Poblado area, close to an array of boutiques, coffee shops, stylish restaurants and so much more, was ideal for exploring the sights of the city. We loved being near all the action but set back enough that the hotel was a quiet sanctuary for sleep and relaxation.  A great choice for families or couples looking for unbeatable service and high quality facilities and amenities at an optimal location in Medellin.

The undeniably stylish and charming Elcielo was my favourite hotel in Medellin.  As soon as you’re greeted at the entrance you know you’ll be treated to luxury and comfort.  I loved the modern yet elegant decor, impeccable and refined service, alongside grand suites with a fine attention to detail.  Our decadent bed felt like sleeping on a cloud and the alluring bathtub at the center of the suite was an indulgent spa like treat.  Their breakfast was leisurely and delicious with a variety of elevated international and local options. We loved the sprawling property complete with modern guestrooms, a variety of swimming pools, and optimal beachfront location. They not only taught them the necessary skills but were animated and engaged ensuring the kids laughed and played while learning.  The relaxing swimming pool at Hooked was a welcome respite after a morning on the beach and we made full use of the facilities including a bbq, ping pong table, and private outdoor patio.  Our family studio was spacious and easily slept our family of four.
