We loved the friendly and welcoming vibes, relaxing ambiance, delicious all day dining options, picture perfect overwater restaurant and sunset bar, and the abundance of marine life. Each day we snorkeled straight from our Deluxe Overwater Bungalow, spacious enough for a family of four. The overwater deck stepped right into the reef where we spotted sharks, stingrays, turtles, and many schools of tropical fish. Sunsets were spectacular each evening and we loved the mix of mouthwatering homemade European and local fare. A dive center offers a huge variety of excursions for both snorkeling and diving, and our kids throughly enjoyed learning Maldivian fishing during a sunset cruise. Gangehi boasts affordable tropical villas on one of the most stunning islands as well as an option to arrive by speedboat or seaplane.
