Casa Republica, set in a beautifully restored 1920’s mansion, fits seamlessly into the bohemian district of Barranco. A tranquil and inviting boutique hotel for a cultural getaway in Lima.  We loved visiting over the weekend and immersing in the beautiful artisanal markets, fresh farmers market, and buzzing vibe.  Casa Republica boasts stylish and comfortable guestrooms, a mouthwatering restaurant and alluring rooftop bar, as well as a tranquil garden and courtyard.  We loved the historic understated style and being only a few minutes walk to the ocean and all the sights of Barranco.  The staff provide you with an in depth map introducing all the local eateries and bars, must see museums and sites as well as the best photo ops in the area.  We felt right at home throughout our stay, starting with a delicious breakfast and sleeping well in our spacious and cozy suite.  A favourite of ours for citybreaks to Lima.
