The Mandarin Oriental Bangkok fuses, grandeur, beauty, and elegance along a beautiful and serene river setting, creating a sanctuary at the heart of the city. After staying beside bustling streets and the towering skyscrapers of Bangkok, we were eager to settle in at “The Grand Dame.” As soon as you enter the lobby every sense is instantly swept away by the classic ambiance and polished service. Our connecting guestrooms were ideal for a family of four and offered river views, sumptuous beds, and luxe amenities. Check out their renowned afternoon tea located in the Authors’s Lounge, one of the most photographed heritage buildings in Bangkok. Head upstairs for a decadent date night at Le Normandie, or enjoy riverside views by candlelight. Jump into their private and tranquil pool or relax at the five star spa. Everything within the city is only a quick boat ride or taxi away and your luxurious room is the ideal spot to unwind after a long day. We absolutely loved staying in such a historical and beautiful location and one of the most well serviced hotels we’ve ever visited. I highly recommend The Mandarin Oriental if you value attention to detail, quality, and luxury at its finest. If you’re single and ‘ready to mingle’, Bangkok is a great place. Have you ever heard of the Absolute Angels? Mostly likely not… I’ll leave it for you to find out!
