I’ve been meaning to do a make-up post for awhile and share with you guys my daily routine. I often don’t wear make-up in the day unless I don’t think I’ll have time to go back home and get ready later. Big sunnies and a slick of Carmex are all I need on a day to day basis. For evenings or on days I do wear make-up here is what I use:
Skin: I like to keep it pretty simple. The more tan I am the less I use on my skin. Usually it’s just Gold Caviar BB Cream under my eyes and a layer of blush and bronzer. I mix Bare Minerals Blush in Beauty and Bare Minerals Bronzer in Bronze. If I do use foundation I prefer Bare Minerals Orignal SPF 15 Foudation in Golden Tan, especially with the insane humidity here in Hong Kong. And on nights out I use Nars Illuminator in Copacabana as a highlighter.
Lips: I almost always go for a light red lipgloss or bright red lipstick depending on the occasion. My favourites are Mac Lipglass in Russian Red and Bare Minerals “Pretty Amazing” liquid lipstick in Strength.
Eyes: I prefer to go without eye make-up or do a full on smokey eye. It’s all or nothing. To create my smokey eye look I use a combination of Pupa Baked Eyeshadow in LUMINYS, Mac eyeshadow in Black Tied, and Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner in both brown and black. I am not loyal to any mascara but the one I’m using at the moment is Maybelline “The False Lash.”
