Saying goodnight just after the clock strikes twelve and giving myself a little shove towards an insanely busy week.  I am taking giant, shaking steps out of my comfort zone in hopes of pulling my goals a little closer.  Being allergic to competition and quitting before I even start is a habit I am hoping to shake.  Maybe not all the way, but enough to allow myself success.

Chilling out in bed on a Monday is essential to my weekly schedule.  I cannot re-start without a few hours to do just about nothing.  My current lazy habits include devouring large bowls of udon in bed, greedily consuming novels courtesy of iBooks, shiver inducing air conditioning paired with searing hot tea, and waking the boy during my fits of insomnia to tell him tidbits about my random non-important musings.

Speak soon!

One Teaspoon dress from Electric Sekki, Versace leather jacket, Zara vest, Jeffrey Campbell boots, Mania Mania Vagabond necklace from Christing C. (on sale now!)

What I wore day one of London Fashion Week.  Insanely busy running around, juggling blogger and buyer duties, alternating between fashion week activities and catching up with old friends, and generally eating and drinking our way through the day.  So much to tell, update, and share but for now here’s an outfit post 😉

I’m atrociously horrible at goodbyes.  I find the entire ordeal awkward and sometimes unnecessary.  In a generation with Skype, Facetime, video chatting, emails, Facebook, Twitter, and many more apps and programs, the world seems like a far smaller space.  My brother and I currently live continents apart, but chat several times a day (Thank you iPhone and Whats App.)  He gives me details of his weekend away in Phuket, while I keep him updated on London snow, packing difficulties, and random meals out with the boy.  I have lived in numerous countries, switched schools more than a handful of times, and have family scattered on all sides of this earth, but never feel far from home.  A few minutes with my computer or phone can allow me to reconnect and keep in touch with friends and family across the world.  I know there are people waiting for me in LA, Seattle, New York, Boston, Taipei, Tokyo, Korea, London, Hong Kong and each time I visit I will feel right at home, regardless of how many years have passed.  Luckily my family aren’t big on drawn out goodbyes either, and a casual “see you next time” will always suffice.  I guess we know we are just a plane ride away…
