My brother’s first visit to Paris commenced with his 24th birthday celebration. Despite the fact that we were on a family vacation, his wishes to party in style were not ignored. I pulled out my favourite backless, vintage dress and we all devoured a seafood feast before descending on Kong for exuberant celebration. The dancing did not cease until close, and we even attempted the one mile walk to VIP for further debauchery. It is safe to say memories of the night closing are scattered, and most likely inaccurate. Luckily croque monseiurs and Laduree macaroons were readily available to facilitate our extreme hangovers the next morning.
